Asian major stock markets closed Wednesday mostly with losses.
The Asia Dow, which includes blue-chip companies in the region, decreased 0.78% to 3,406.81 points as of 1104 GMT.
Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 fell 0.18% to close at 28,606.76 points.
Japan’s industrial production rose 4.6% from a month ago in February, upwardly revised from a flash reading of 4.5%.
The Hang Seng, the benchmark for blue-chip stocks trading on the Hong Kong exchange, lost 1.37% to reach 20,367.76 points.
China’s Shanghai Stock Exchange fell 0.68% to 3,370.13 and India’s Sensex index slipped 0.27% to close at 59,567.80
The Singapore index, on the other hand, gained 0.44% to end the day at 3,324.05 points.
